Ivan Visconti
Ivan Visconti got his Laurea (M.Sc. equivalent) cum laude in Computer Science in 1998 (first in his class) and his PhD
Ivan Visconti's research focuses on advanced cryptographic notions and tools for data protection and their applications to Blockchain Technology. He has been a local scientific coordinator for the H2020 European project "PRIViLEDGE" (Privacy-Enhancing Cryptography in Distributed Ledgers), that focused on security Blockchain technology and their applications (2018-2021). Currently he's a local coordinator of the MIUR project "PrepAring cRypTograpHy for privacy-awarE blockchaiN applicatiONs (PARTHENON)".
Ivan Visconti has served as Senior Area Editor of IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security (T-IFS). In 2020 he received a Certificate of Merit "for outstanding editorial board service for the IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security".
Results of his research have been published in the most important worldwide conferences on theoretical computer science (STOC (1), FOCS (2)) and cryptography (CRYPTO 11), EUROCRYPT (6), TCC (14)). He has been several times program committee member of IACR conferences and of ICALP 2015 (track A). See csrankings.org to have an idea about the importance of some conferences in computer science.
