Elena Mongiardini received her Bachelor Degree in Clinical Engineering (cum laude) in 2018 and her Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering (con laude) in 2021, from La Sapienza University of Rome. Since November 2021, she attends the PhD program in Automatic Control, Bioengineering, and Operations Research, curriculum of Bioengineering, at the Sapienza University of Rome.
Her research activity deals with the processing of electroencephalographic data to explore new biomarkers and predictors of motor recovery in post-stroke patients. She carries out his research at the Laboratory of Neuroelectric Imaging and Brain-Computer Interfaces (NEILab) at the Fondazione Santa Lucia in Rome.
