Modern science, medicine and information technologies require effective data processing however, the commonly used algorithms, such as the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), which constitute the basis for data analysis and compression, remain a bottleneck. The hope for overcoming this limitation is seen in quantum solutions. The seminar will be devoted to the introduction to modern photonic quantum technologies and their capabilities, in particular to the implementations of the Fourier and Kravchuk transforms and their applications in information processing.
